SLEEPING PADS
Self-inflating mats ELITE offers up to 20% less weight (L38 lite up to 30%) and up to 40% less packed volume compared to the previous series with full foam insulation!
They are lightened with longitudinal horizontal (L38 lite has even vertical) channels, which provides similar insulation parameters compared to previous mats.
A special bayonet valve (or double-sided slip-on valve) and lightweight insulating padding allow for easier and faster inflation and deflation, and even greater compression.
Significant change has been made to the materials and production technologies used, which provide the mats much greater mechanical resistance and durability.
The top fabric has a non-slip Ripstop structure - a diamond or honeycomb pattern - so the sleeping bag slides even less on the mat.
Each mat is inflated with high pressure and checked for bulging or leakage for 24 hours. Subsequently, it is carefully vacuum-controlled for 72 hours to prevent any leakage!
R-Value (thermal resistance) gives the thermal insulation properties of the mat (the higher the better). It depends on the insulation thickness and the thermal resistance coefficient of the insulation.
